MISSILE INTO OCCUPIED DWELLING, 2021-04060042, 900 block of S. Buchannan Street. At approximately 7:33 a.m. on April 6, police were dispatched to the report of a dispute between known individuals. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that one of the involved parties, who was no longer on scene, was wanted by another jurisdiction. An officer located the wanted suspect in the 3200 block of 24th Street S. As officers attempted to make contact with him, he fled on foot. Following a foot pursuit, he was taken into custody. The investigation revealed that during the earlier dispute, the suspect had thrown a rock through the window of the victim’s residence. Xavier Mitchell, 19, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Missile into Occupied Dwelling.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (Significant), 2021-04060071, 1100 block of S. Highland Street. At approximately 9:46 a.m. on April 6, police received a report of a trespassing. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the reporting party who advised that the suspect had allegedly been repeatedly located inside an under construction property. As officers attempted to make contact with the suspect, he fled the scene on foot. Following a foot pursuit, he was taken into custody. The investigation determined the suspect was related to a destruction of property incident previously reported at this location where the side mirrors of two vehicles were damaged. Jason Cornejo, 29, of Annandale, VA was arrested and charged with Destruction of Property and Trespassing.
INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2021-04060206, 300 block of 23rd Street S. At approximately 11:22 p.m. on April 6, police were dispatched to the report of an exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victims were on the balconies of their residences when they observed the female suspect dancing on the hood of a vehicle. During the event, the suspect lifted her sports bra, exposing her breasts. The suspect is described as a Black female, approximately 5’6” with an athletic build. She was wearing a blue/green wig, lime green sports bra, teal tank top and blue jeans. The investigation is ongoing.
