ROBBERY, 2020-08240076, 3600 block of S. Glebe Road. At approximately 11:45 a.m. on August 24, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that known suspect visited the victim’s residence. Once inside, the suspect became agitated and demanded money from the victim. The suspect then attempted to grabbed items of value from the victim, resulting in a brief struggle. The suspect demanded additional money from the victim, then fled prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as as a Black male, approximately 5’10”, 180 lbs., wearing a black baseball cap, blue face mask, with an unshaven face and tattoos on his upper arm, wearing a black tank top, red athletic shorts and black flip flops with socks. The victim was not injured. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2020-08230008, 2700 block of Richmond Highway. At approximately 12:17 a.m. on August 23, police were dispatched to the report of a dispute. Upon arrival, it was determined that the known suspect and victim had returned to their hotel room when the suspect began going through the victim’s belongings. A verbal dispute ensued and the suspect grabbed the victim and threw her to the ground. He then stole her car keys and items of value and fled in her vehicle prior to police arrival. The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as a Black male, 5’11”-6’1”, 140-150 lbs., with light brown eyes and long blonde dreadlocks. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2020-08230048, 3300 block of Lee Highway. At approximately 2:54 a.m. on August 23, police were dispatched to the report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim visited the known suspect’s hotel room, where the suspect assaulted him and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and items of value from the victim. The suspect later returned the items of value to the victim, then fled the scene prior to police arrival. The victim sustained minor injuries that did not require medical treatment. The suspect is described as a light skinned, mixed race male, with a short fade haircut, wearing a black and white shirt. The investigation is ongoing.
