ATTEMPTED BANK ROBBERY, 2019-02190111, 2200 block of S. Eads Street. At approximately 11:32 a.m. on February 19, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown suspect entered a bank and passed the teller a note demanding money. The suspect fled the scene without any money prior to police arrival. Arriving officers located a suspect nearby matching the description provided in a lookout and he was positively identified. Vincent Trice, 39, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Robbery.
ROBBERY, 2019-02160235, 14th Street S. at S. Fern Street. At approximately 7:21 p.m. on February 16, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim and suspect arranged to meet to conduct the sale of a cell phone. After the transaction, the suspect forcefully removed the cell phone from the victim’s hands and fled on foot. When the victim followed, the suspect made threats to kill the victim. The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black jacket and black pants. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2019-02180214, 1200 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 8:40 p.m. on February 18, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that a store employee allegedly observed two female suspects stealing merchandise and followed them out of the business. When one suspect dropped their cell phone, the employee attempted to pick up the device and was assaulted by the suspects. The victim refused medical treatment. Suspect One is described as a black female with dreadlocks wearing a yellow coat and gray pants. Suspect Two is described as a black female wearing a striped jacket and black pants. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY (late), 2019-02160233, 2200 block of 24th Street N. At approximately 7:23 p.m. on February 16, police were dispatched to the late report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown suspect entered an unlocked residence and stole jewelry. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
