REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2021-01210219, 2400 block of Richmond Highway. At approximately 10:05 p.m. on January 21, police were dispatched to the report of an attempted armed robbery just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect allegedly approached the front counter of a business, threatened the employee with a firearm, and demanded money. When the employee declined and summoned another employee, the suspect turned, pointed the firearm at them and demanded money again. As the employee moved away to call for assistance, the suspect fled the business. A lookout was broadcast, and officers arriving in the area located the suspect and took him into custody without incident. During a search incident to arrest, the suspect was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Leonardo Reyes, 19, of Greenbelt, Md., was arrested and charged with Attempted Robbery (x2), Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance.
INDECENT EXPOSURE (late), 2021-01210115, S. Arlington Mill Drive. At approximately 1:23 p.m. on January 21, police were dispatched to the late report of an indecent exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 1:00 p.m., the victim was walking on the trail in the area of S. Arlington Mill Drive and Tyroll Hills Park when she observed the unknown male suspect touching himself inappropriately. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’9”, 220 lbs., wearing a gray hoodie, black skull cap, and black and gray pants. The investigation is ongoing.
