ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 160718025, 5500 block of S. Columbia Pike. At approximately 11:40 a.m. on July 18, officers were dispatched to the report of a suspicious individual allegedly attempting to open several apartment doors. Upon investigation, officers discovered the suspect had unlawfully entered an unoccupied apartment. Souleymane Pow, 25, of no fixed address was charged with attempted burglary, possession of burglarious tools, unlawful entry, possession of stolen property and possession of marijuana.
GRAND LARCENY FROM AUTO, 160719035, 2100 block of N. Clarendon Boulevard. Between 10:00 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. on July 19, an unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle and stole several items of value.
BURGLARY, 160719037, 3300 block of S. Wakefield Street. Between 11:00 p.m. on July 18 and 1:15 p.m. on July 19, an unknown subject(s) forced entry into a residence. Several items appeared out of place but no items were reported stolen. The investigation is ongoing.
BRANDISHING A FIREARM, 160719051, 1500 block of N. Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 6:30 p.m. on July 19, officers were dispatched to the report of an unknown subject brandishing a firearm. The two female victims advised that after sounding their vehicle horn at a subject vehicle blocking their path, the subject proceeded to follow the victims. The subject pulled alongside the victim’s car and brandished a handgun before fleeing the scene. The subject is described as a black male in his 20’s, thin build, with short black hair. He was described as wearing a black t-shirt, black sunglasses and driving a black sedan.
