REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2021-03010118, 700 block of N. Glebe Road. At approximately 5:25 p.m. on March 1, police were dispatched to the report of disorderly conduct. Upon arrival, it was determined that two suspects entered a business and began selecting merchandise. An employee of the business verbally challenged them, however the suspects continued to walk around the business. As the suspects attempted to exit the business, they became engaged in a verbal dispute with the employee and a brief struggle ensued. The employee was able to recover merchandise from one of the suspects. Both suspects then fled in a vehicle. Suspect One is described as a Black male, 20-30 years old, black hair, brown eyes, 5’9”-5’11”, 275 lbs., heavy, wearing a mask, long sleeve white shirt and blue jeans. Suspect Two is described as a Black male, 5’9”-5’11”, 175-190 lbs., 20-30 years old, black hair, brown eyes, skinny, wearing a mask, blue jeans, a dark green jacket, and a black hat. The vehicle is described as a white Hyundai with Virginia license plates. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY, 2021-03020018, 4200 block of Pershing Drive. At approximately 3:18 a.m. on March 2, police were dispatched to the report of an alarm. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown suspect(s) forced entry to a business, causing damage, and stole two cash register drawers containing an undisclosed amount of cash. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY, 2021-03020024, 5500 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 5:01 a.m. on March 2, police were dispatched to the report of an alarm. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 4:49 a.m., two suspects exited a vehicle driven by a third suspect, forced entry to a business, causing damage, and stole a cash register containing an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects then fled in the vehicle prior to police arrival. Suspect One and Two are both described as having a slim build, wearing black pants, a black jacket with the hood up, facial covering, and gloves. The vehicle is described as a newer model silver Toyota Corolla. The investigation is ongoing.
