At approximately 4:41 p.m. on October 21, police were dispatched to the late report of a shooting in the 900 block of S. Dinwiddie Street. Arriving officers located the juvenile male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand and rendered aid. He was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation determined that the incident took place approximately 20-25 minutes prior to the dispatched call for service in the 800 block of S. Frederick Street.
