ARLINGTON, Va. – The Arlington County Police Department’s Homicide/Robbery Unit is investigating a shots fired incident which occurred in the Green Valley neighborhood in the early morning hours of June 6, 2021.
At approximately 2:17 a.m., police were dispatched to the 3500 block of 23rd Street S. for multiple reports of shots fired. Arriving officers located evidence confirming multiple shots had been fired in the area of the school parking lot and field. The preliminary investigation indicates that a large group had been congregating in the parking lot and immediately fled the area following the incident. No injuries or property damage have been reported.
This remains an active criminal investigation.
